An inspiring story about a boy who follows his childhood dream
In the Tree House is an inspiring story about a boy who follows his childhood dream to follow a calling to the priesthood of the Syriac Orthodox Christian Church of Antioch. Ultimately, seven year old Matthew aspires to become a bishop. He invites his sister and friend to help him conduct his first pretend service in their treehouse, which they transform into a church setting using common materials creatively. Filled with colorful illustrations, In the Tree House tells a compassionate story of a boy who never forgot his childhood dream and who followed his vision and calling to become a priest who cares and watches over others. The powerful message of humanity and compassion will resonate with young readers, who also may have high dreams they hope to achieve, using the bridge of creative play to begin the long process of finalizing their hopeful visions of the future. In the Tree House offers young children the best example of how to dream and how to begin to achieve a dream, always remembering the hear of the best dream is compassion and caring for others.

An inspirational story that is brilliantly composed
In The Tree House is an inspirational story that is brilliantly composed by Mor Cyril Aphrem Karim and beautifully illustrated by Brian Acquaire. It is an enchanting book that invites children to reflect about the presence of God in their life and to respond to His calling to labor and serve earnestly in His spiritual vineyard. I congratulate Mor Cyril Aphrem and all those who labored with him to produce this excellent children’s book.
My heartfelt congratulations to you and all those who labor diligently in the vineyard of Christ.

A Heartfelt Review
I am proud and delighted to recommend In The Tree House, written by my Brother-in-Christ, Archbishop Cyril. Children and adults alike will surely enjoy the beautiful book, which I read, as it showcases clergymen in a positive light.
All religions, including my own Armenian Church, are in need of dedicated clergymen to lead the flock. Being an inspiring role for young people is the best way to encourage those who, like the young Matthew in this book, have a vocation for a life of service. Hopefully, In The Tree House will influence some into service to Our Lord and His vineyard. Whatever your faith may be, this children’s book can and will appeal to you.
