Magic Disco Ball, by Lilliana Barhe
One evening on a groovy day, while everyone was at the dance club, Sebastian who has green eyes, black hair and is very brave, DuggyDog who has brown eyes, blonde hair and is very mysterious about every little thing, and last but not least, Scooby-Doo who has blue eyes, long brown hair and can see something before it even happens, were lying down under an old shady tree trying to figure out what to do. Sebastian inquired to go to the dance club and get his groove on, so they all rushed to and entered the humid club filled with a whole amount of people dancing and getting their groove on, just like Sebastian did. Right at the moment when they had walked through the colorful door, a magic disco ball appeared mysteriously. It was the size of a clock and had all different flashy lights on it and then everyone started to stare at the magic disco ball, until Scooby-Doo jumped up and fainted in amazement.
DuggyDog had that mysterious look on his face, he was trying to figure out why, how and where this magic ball came from. So when everybody left the club, DuggyDog brought out his laptop, which was very modern, and he loved like a baby. He did some research on “Magic Disco Balls,” typing it in the laptop and millions of answers came up, but the one he chose was the one that said “Magic Disco Balls from the Hippies.” It said “Every Thursday, on January 24, the hippies would send every person in a dance club or at least dancing a disco ball as a friendship gift, but they never ever in 1,000 years sent a MAGIC DISCO BALL. But they did receive that magic disco ball, with flashy, colorful, bright and very dazzling lights on it.
So then DuggyDog called Sebastian and Scooby over and demanded they listen. After what he had confessed, they were in shock that they received the Magic Disco Ball! Then Sebastian mumbled, “Wow, man, that is some pretty interesting stuff you have told us!” After that, DuggyDog took out his Scanner 3000 which was all black and had so many buttons that Sebastian and Scooby-Doo fell and were knocked out. DuggyDog didn’t help them up; he just went straight to his work and tried scanning the Magic Disco Ball. The first time he tried, it replied “ERROR.” The second time he tried, it still bellowed “ERROR,” but DuggyDog didn’t give up and the third time it did work and the scanner answered him that they should beware because the hippies might try to take it back. So DuggyDog and his two friends went to get a good night’s sleep, well actually just DuggyDog, since Scooby and Sebastian were still knocked out!
TWO DAYS LATER
On Saturday morning, Scooby-Doo knew that DuggyDog was making warm blueberry pancakes, cinnamon toast and Scooby’s favorite warm biscuits stuffed with cheese and bacon on the side mmm. Scooby could smell DuggyDog making all those things with his big nose. When Scooby-Doo walked into the kitchen, he saw Sebastian making the cinnamon toast. Sebastian admitted, “Yo, man, those blueberry pancakes look really good I could almost eat them all myself!” But Scooby-Doo muttered, “Well you can’t have any! DuggyDog made them for me and for me only.” Then, Scooby-Doo realized that DuggyDog only makes all that delicious food if they were in trouble! So Scooby-Doo bellowed, “Alright DuggyDog, what’s gotten into you?” DuggyDog confessed, “Alright, you caught me. Last night I was doing some more research about the hippies and the scanner replied that the hippies will take back the Magic Disco Ball at 1:30 PM. They will go to the dance club and try to steal it away from us.”
So, they finished up their warm, moist and delicious breakfast and hurried off to the dance club. When they got there, it was exactly 1:30 and the wind started blowing and the trees started shaking and the Magic Disco Ball began disappearing and reappearing mysteriously. DuggyDog tried grabbing to get the disco ball back and at the last few seconds, Scooby, Sebastian and DuggyDog all pulled the disco ball back and after some more yanking…whoooooosh! They got the Magic Disco Ball safe and sound.
*THE END! *
