Proofing the Final Printed Book, In The Tree House
On Wednesday, April 20, 2011, we received a long awaited package in the mail, containing the final proof of the book, In The Tree House. This was a marvelous day at Parables & Books headquarters. When the proof arrived, our immediate reaction was to tear open the package but we grabbed the camera and took photos of each other, Archbishop Cyril, Sandy Ghattas, and Tom McMillian, so we could capture this moment. Unfortunately, our illustrator Brian Acquaire was unavailable to be with us during that time.
The quality of the paper, with the full bleeds, exceeded our own expectations and the colors are absolutely amazing. After one small revision the book has now been completely approved. We are putting together marketing collateral for In The Tree House, while we anxiously wait for the final books to arrive.
