Lisa Kildahl received her BA in Economics at Oakland University in Rochester Hills Michigan. With over 15 years of business experience, she has a diverse background including underwriting at John Hancock, employee benefits analysis at Johnson & Higgins and most currently working with The Fisher Agency.
Interspersed between working, Lisa was a stay at home mom for several years. Some of her fondest memories center around telling stories to her children Kyle and Katie. During the countless hours of reading to her children, Lisa began her long-term dream of writing stories.

Sara Candan is writing a Sunday school curriculum the for the educational subdivision of P&B.
Sara received her Masters in Communication from Rutgers University prior to obtaining her teacher’s certification. Having extensive experience covering grade levels from early elementary to university settings, Sara has an innate ability to relate to students and help them understand material in a fun, effortless way.
Archbishop Cyril Aphrem Karim
His Eminence Metropolitan Mor Cyril Aphrem Karim is the Archbishop of the Syriac Orthodox Church of Antioch for the Eastern United States of America. One of his passions is inspiring youth to bring the tenets of religion into their daily lives. It is his hope that the first book from Parables & Books, In The Tree House, will help both parents and children to recognize God’s calling and grace.
